2017 Call for Board Directors
Propellus helps non-profit organizations soar. When they succeed, our communities thrive. We are a non-profit organization offering a dynamic range of consulting, training and management services. We value courage, exploration, adaptability, resilience and empowerment and are seeking individuals who exemplify these values.
As Propellus looks ahead to 2017/18, there is a desire to recruit board members who will help guide the organization in a way that benefits our members and aligns with our values. Potential board members are expected to enable Propellus to continue this work while also enabling the organization to refine its strategy, and secure necessary resource and business development opportunities as we continue to position Propellus in the marketplace.
We are looking to fill Board vacancies with community leaders. As someone who is involved in building strong communities, you will bring experience and expertise related to at least one or more of the following areas: board governance, legal, marketing, communications, human resources, non-profit as well you will bring an openness to assisting with fundraising or friendraising activities. We are looking for prospective members who live and embody our values, and people who are skilled collaborators and innovators. You will bring a passion for strengthening organizations, and you are a lifelong learner who learns from mistakes and can help organizations do the same.

- Terms: 2 year Board Term; Renewable for 3 terms
- Expected Meetings: Monthly Board Meeting; Monthly Committee Meeting
- Time Commitment: 8-10 hours per month
- Start Date: To be formally elected at the June 2017 Annual General Meeting,
- Contribution: All directors are required to pay a $75 membership fee, and a further financial contribution (donation) is expected annually (although there is currently no set minimum)
